Collective Intelligence, Inc has been a supplier to the US Government for over 10 years through various arrangements including prime contracting thru a GSA Schedule 70 contract.

 

While many departments have been served over the years, the primary focus has been with the Department of Defense. Collective Intelligence is registered as a contractor with DoD and has several consultants with various security clearances up to the secret level.

 

Collective Intelligence is able to deliver the same set of technology and services to the government that are delivered to commercial customers. The practice areas include business intelligence, portals, application development, system integration, and identity management.

 

One of Collective Intelligence's focus areas with DoD has been security infrastructure consulting. Security is obviously an ongoing concern for the DoD. Threats are not only physical in this era, but can take the form of cyber attacks. Collective Intelligence has been able to provide advanced consulting services to the DoD in the security infrastructure area including identity management, user provisioning, and access control. These areas have been applied to service oriented architectures, web portals, and applications.

 

A number of Collective Intelligence consultants have obtained Certified Information Systems Security Professional status. This certification places these consultants at the pinnacle of security infrastructure consulting capability. These consultants have experience in security product infrastructure installations, configurations, and architecture and are able to develop complete identity and access management solutions. Representative products include Oracle Identity and Access Management, IBM Tivoli , and various J2EE technologies including JSSE and JAAS.
