Founded in 1999
 
Collective Intelligence was founded in February, 1999 as a provider of Internet-based, eBusiness applications. The firm quickly established a reputation for constructing sophisticated, web-based applications for it’s clientele. Since that time the firm has evolved into a provider of CRM, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Portal and Systems Integration solutions. Through the years the firm has built a prestigious client base that spans Fortune 1000, State / Federal Government agencies and many fast growing mid-size corporations. Below you will find a brief history of the firm as it has evolved over the last decade.
 
​Jan 2011 ​Richard Krott is promoted and becomes the CI Microsoft Platform Practice Manager.
Jun 2010 ​CI formally establishes Microsoft XRM Practices using XRm as a deploymnet platform for integrated line of business applications.
​May 2010 ​CI Embraces the Azure Cloud providing cloud based deployment services to our Microsof Clients
Jan 2010 ​We announced SharePoint 2010 Portal Migration Services helping our clients move from SharePoint 2003/2007 to a new modern platform.
Jun 2009 ​Collective Intelligence establishes a SharePoint Development Center providing SharePoint development services to customers in the Mid Atlantic region.
Feb 2009 CI Celebrates 10th Anniversary
Mar 2008 CI establishes consulting solutions centered around IBM WebSphere products.
Oct 2007 SAP Business Partnership Established
Jun 2006 CI establishes the Business Intelligence Development Center which provides outsourced BI development solutions for several key clients.
April 2006 The Collective Intelligence PMS is deployed providing project management infrastructure support to both CI consultants and clients.
Mar 2006 The Microsoft consulting practice is established in order to focus on the SharePoint Portal, SharePoint Portal Services, and the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform.
Feb 2005 CI partners with BEA for continued support of Plumtree Portal, now rebranded as AquaLogic.
Jan 2005 CI partners with Business Objects the leader in Enterprise Business Intelligence
Sep 2004 Embarcadero is added to partner list and provides tools for data modeling, database administration, and the management of business intelligence infrastructure.
June 2004 CI becomes a Plumtree Portal implementation partner.
May 2004 CI becomes a partner of Symantec corporation, offering security and Internet appliance solutions.
Feb 2004 CI becomes an authorized reseller of Borland products.
Oct 2004 CI initiates a partnership with SalesForce.com the leader in on demand CRM. This relationship rounds out the company’s CRM offerings.
Sep 2004 CI announces a partnership with Above All Software, a leader in Web Service Client Integration.
Dec 2003 CI formally announced the formation of its Systems Integration Practice focusing on the delivery of IWeb Services and Service Oriented Architecture solutions.
Apr 2003 The Enterprise Portal practice was formed initally delivering knowledge management and eBusiness functions over the web.
Aug 2002 CI established partnerships with Embarcadero Technologies and Altova Inc.
May 2002 CI Announced a CRM practice initially focused on non-profit organizations.
Mar 2002 John Haller left the firm to pursue other interests.
Oct 2001 Collective Intelligence began performing services directly for the Federal Government via its newly acquired GSA Schedule.
Jan 2000  
The Business Intelligence Practice was created to offer data management, reporting, and measurement products and services. Soon thereafter CI established a partnership with COGNOS corporation.
Jun 1999 CI Establishes partnerships with BEA Weblogic, IBM and Oracle
May 1999 CI begins developing web applications based on the Microsoft platform.
Apr 1999  
CI rolls out its J2EE practice focused on delivering Java Platform eBusiness products and services.
Feb 1999  
The company was founded by Daren Stonesifer, John Haller and Chuck Russell.
