Power BI Basic
For 8-10 learners
Power BI training provides real world insight and examples that enhance the learning experience. Upon course completion a student will be well prepared to build and publish reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using the Power BI tool set.
The training curriculum provides two data model options, industry standard data model, and client data model. The training is very effective with either data model, however using the client data model gives the student the advantage of using familiar data from their own organization.
Format:
This course will be delivered in two, four-hour sessions typically on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
Required tools to access:
A web browser with the ability to connect to remote MS 365 Teams instances. Licensing and materials to be provided.

Power BI Advanced
For 8-10 learners
The Power BI Advanced Training builds on the knowledge and skills that the student receives during the Power BI Basic Training. It includes training in data modeling and advanced data queries. With these training additions, the student is equipped to tackle more complex reporting and analytics requirements.
The Power BI Advanced Training is delivered using the data model (industry standard or client) selected for the Power BI Basic Training. This provides consistency throughout the entire learning experience.
Format:
This course will be delivered in two, four-hour sessions typically on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Required tools to access:
A laptop connected to our MS 365 Teams instances, and the ability to run Power BI Desktop. Licensing and materials to be provided.

The course material is customized to provide training that is specifically tailored to reflect the student’s business environment including the current data model. Additionally, the training may be delivered on-site at the client location, at the Collective Intelligence training facility, or virtually. Upon course completion, students can be expected to be proficient with the Power BI tools and technologies allowing them to assume a productive role in the organizations Power BI deployment.
